Jonathan Harris: The Web's Secret Stories



Artist and computer scientist Jonathan Harris builds interactive online art projects that capture the world's expressions. At the TED conference, Harris shared his We Feel Fine project which snags feelings from people's blogs, catalogs them and then organizes them into customizable graphics and charts. He also unveiled his latest project Universe, an endless flow of tagged information from around the world, that reveals the zeitgeist in the form of clouds and constellations.

James Nachtwey - Photojournalist



Accepting the 2007 TED Prize, photojournalist James Nachtwey discusses his body of work and shares some of his most stunning images. Over the last 26 years, Nachtwey has covered every major war and disaster around the globe. Many of his photos moved the world to act. It is amazing what one photo can do.

The images are graphic, but they are also beautiful and vivid and poetic. And Nachtwey is undoubtedly one of the best photographers of all time.

Sir Ken Robinson discussed the possibility of revolutionizing the education system and whether the present system might be eroding away the most vital pieces of human nature.
