Okay, so my 2 week break from blogging turned into 4 weeks... Oh well, it was worth it. Vegas was fabulous. Chris & Stephen's wedding was a total blast. And it was the biggest treat in the world to spend time with friends who live so far away. I miss my west coast hoochies like crazy. I still hate that you moved. And I promise to never stop hating the distance.

Bit of history: this song was co-written by Jane Wieldin, of The Go-Gos, and Terry Hall, lead singer of Fun Boy Three, and formerly of The Specials. The Go-Gos released their version in 1981, with great success. This version, released in 1983, was produced by David Byrne of the Talking Heads.
