Sculpture students in England were blindfolded and challenged to recreate the bust of Lionel Ritchie, from the famous video for "Hello".

Goodbye Art: Family in Iraq

To commemorate the return of his Goodbye Art series, Phil Hansen created a portrait of his brother-in-law, who is being shipped off to Iraq.

Liquid Sculpture

This is a ferrofluid art project, by Sachiko Kodama, named "Protrude, Flow". The artist used magents to introduce electro-magnetic waves, changing the ferrofluid from liquid to solid material, and back again.

Theo Jansen - Sculpting the Air

Artist Theo Jansen has developed these amazing wind-powered "beach animals" from commonly available materials like cardboard and plastic bottles. He plans to release herds of them to live on their own along the Dutch coastline. This is truly genius engineering.
