Woman Sentenced to Death for Witchcraft

In 2005, the religious police of Saudi Arabia arrested a woman accused of witchcraft. Today she faces death by decapitation, unless the Saudi king intervenes on her behalf.


So, I guess this mean that the courts of Saudi Arabia are no more clever than those in Monty Python's Holy Grail.

Dancing Prison Inmates

Sure you've probably seen the "Thriller" video by now, from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) in Cebu, Philippines. But did you know they did a bunch of other songs as well? And it's a pretty curious selection, too.

The "Thriller" video, re-enacted by more than 1,500 CPDRC inmates.


"I Will Follow Him", from the movie Sister Act.


Queen's "Radio Gaga", featuring excerpts of the original video and special effects.


A world record-setting 967 inmates participated in the "Algorithm March".


And, finally, "Jumbo Hotdog" by The Maskulados. The refrain, apparently, roughly translates to: "Jumbo Hotdog. Can you take me? Can you handle me?"

This is one swingin' prison...
