Countdown: The Neuter Ted Stevens Act
Congress overwhelmingly passed a new bill today, The Honest Leadership and Open Government Act of 2007, with a vote of 411-8. They hope the new legislation will shed light on possible corruption and discourage political favors. Considering the questionable history of Senator Ted "the internet is a series of tubes" Stevens (R-AK), and the fact that his home was raided by the IRS and the FBI this weekend, he could be a prime target for the new bill. No surprise he is pledging to block the bill in the Senate.

Countdown - House of Scandal
Click to view video.Keith Olberman & David Schuster discuss the White House email purge. Basically, the White House has - yet again! - been caught breaking US laws. But this time, it maybe worse than originally suspected. You can safely regard this scandal as worse (WAY WORSE!) than Nixon's deleted 18 minutes.
