Conspiracy of Silence
Okay, so this is a documentary film about the Boys Town molestation case (AKA the Franklin Coverup Scandal). According to witnesses and investigators, back in the 1980s there was a child sex and prostitution ring run out of Boys Town, Omaha, by local religious and political leaders, with ties all the way to the Reagan and Bush, Sr. Administrations.
Pretty outrageous, right? Well, it gets worse.
Apparently, this film was set to be aired on the Discovery channel back on May 3, 1994. It was printed up in the TV Guide and everything. But right at the last minute, unnamed officials from congress had the film seized and all copies destroyed. What is posted above is a damaged working copy of the film that was leaked to Former Nebraska Senator John DeCamp.
I'm normally skeptical about a lot of this kinda stuff, but considering all the crazy sex crimes we've seen pour out of the GOP & the Catholic Church lately... I find it hard to dismiss.
