Has Your Opinion of the Iraq War Changed?

The government is touting some minor progress in Iraq these days, so CNN's Jack Cafferty posed this question to his viewers & read their emailed responses on the air.

The Price of American Blood

Conservative wing-nuts are at it again. Ever since General Petraeus called for the "surge" to continue for another year, whacked-out republicans have been defending the need for more dead Americans.

First to volunteer everyone but himself, FOX's Bill O'Reilly. His comments, that 1000 more dead soldiers was completely reasonable, garnered him the top spot on Countdown's Worst Person in the World tally:

Next up to talk out of his asshole, Congressman John Boehner (R-OH), who joined Wolf Blitzer on CNN's Situation Room. He claims that the blood of American soldiers is a "small price" to pay. No word on whether Rep. Boehner will be offering up any of his loved one's for the sacrifice:

And finally - topping even the craziest of the crazies - Philadelphia Daily News columnist Stu Bycofsky, who published an editorial last month entitled, To Save America, We Need Another 9/11. He even went so far as to offer terrorists a list of American monuments for them to target, like the Golden Gate Bridge and Mount Rushmore. Stephen Colbert suggested another option in this segment of The Word - Re-Run:

Unless and until these Republican sociopaths are ready to lay down their own lives in defense of their political policies, they really need to shut the fuck up.

Cafferty File: Sen. Craig's Political Future

Tonight CNN's Jack Cafferty discussed the Senator Craig case and Craig's claim that he has not yet made up his mind about whether or not to run for reelection. The email question Cafferty posed to his viewers was: "How would you describe Senator Larry Craig's political future?" The responses were delicious.

Impeach Cheney: Peaceman v The Chenguin

54% of Americans and 76% of Democrats support the impeachment of Dick Cheney. But only one presidential candidate is willing to represent the vast majority. In fact, he wrote the resolution to get Cheney out of office - HR 333.

A Fox, a Wolf, and a Whole Lot of Bull

Remember how in the Fox Republican Debate, back on May 15th, the Fox anchormen asked Congressman Ron Paul if he was running for the election of the wrong political party, cause he believes that America has shitty foreign policy, and then Rudy Giuliani opened his big fat trap and said something really fuckin' stupid, and then every idiot on the TV set repeated the same piece of stupidity...?

Well, some bright person out there in the internets has put together this two-part video that sheds light on the media coverage and false accusations surrounding the event. It is shameful how over-represented and over-glorified the far right lunatic fringe is in our country...

Part 1.

Part 2.

Michael Moore Demands Apology from CNN

Michael Moore was invited on Wolf Blitzer's CNN show to talk about his new movie Sicko. But, right before he was on, the network ran a hit piece on the film and on nationalized healthcare. So, it's no surprise that Moore was ticked. But, maaaannn.... He went OFF! He even went after the network for not doing their job in the early days of the invasion of Iraq. This definitely gets heated.

First, the piece from CNN.
