Republicans Jumping Ship
Josh Marshall of TPMTV takes a look at all the Republicans, in both the House and the Senate, that will not be running for reelection in 2008. Looks like the Democrats have a good chance to widen their control of the government and maybe actually start to get things done. Wouldn't that be nice?

Fact Check: Romney vs. Obama
Recently, Barak Obama made a few comments about the war in Afghanistan, saying that we need to put more troops on the ground in order to avoid further civilian casualties. Well, that raging idiot Mitt Romney opened his big fat trap and said a bunch of stupid shit that doesn't make a lick of sense, and proved that he would rather pander to the least educated among us, than actually pay attention to the realities of the world around us. He's even less aware of he facts than Bush!
Surprised? Didn't think so.

Enviro-Bamboozler James Connaughton
James Connaughton is the piece of shit that's responsible for the EPA telling New Yorkers that the air was safe in lower Manhattan after 9/11. This clip from TMPTV features the highlights of his senate testimony, wherein he tries his damnedest to squirm out of taking any responsibility whatsoever.
As a resident of lower Manhattan, I can tell you that a toxic cloud of smoke and dust and ash hung over this portion of the city for a full TWO MONTHS, after 9/11. The fire raged deep within the rubble the entire time, and the air reeked of toxic fumes, from here to midtown.
Promise me that if you ever see this human maggot on the street, you will punch him in his big fat shiny lying face, m'kay?
